We are located in the heart of the Hudson Valley and we engage with our local community through our diverse programming. 

Beyond our primary programming of residencies, we open our grounds seasonally to the community with family-friendly workshops, concerts and events. We collaborate with local arts organizations and other residency programs for connection and mutual support.

In our fourth year, we are working on establishing collaborations with local businesses and farms towards site-specific artworks by our residents, community dinners and workshops, and exhibitions in the region featuring current residents and Alumni.

In June of 2024, we held our first group exhibition in New York City, featuring recent and past Alumni, curated by a longtime Interlude juror, Regine Basha. This brings together a larger group of Interlude artists and supporters. Associated events include opening and closing celebrations, a book launch, and a picnic in Prospect Park for artists and their families.
